T.S. Loves - Banksias
Did you read ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie’ as a child? Remember the Big Bad Banksia Men? These villains were inspired by the cult favourite Banksia flower (Pic 1). An iconic Australian flower, they come in a range of sizes and colours. Ranging from mid size trees to ground covers, you are guaranteed to find a Banksia to add to your Tricky Spot!
Why we love them
Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, the nectar in the flowers is a favourite of bees, wattle birds (honey eaters), sugar gliders and possums. These low maintenance beauties are always a welcome addition to any garden.
